Electronic Arts pregăteşte pentru sfârşitul acestei luni câteva zile de liber la condusul noului oraş din SimCity, deschizând înregistrările pentru testul beta ce se va desfăşura între 25-28 ianuarie. Toţi cei care erau deja înregistraţi sunt favorizaţi, iar cei care se înscriu acum mai au o şansă, însă locurile sunt limitate. Procesul de înregistrare se încheie pe 21 ianuarie, ora 2am GMT.
SimCity este o încercare de a învia celebra serie considerată de mulţi ca fiind exemplul ideal pentru un simulator de management al unui oraş. Noul titlu, realizat de Maxis, va apărea pe 8 martie şi cei interesaţi pot să-l precomande liniştiţi.

Running from 5pm GMT on January 25 until 8am GMT on January 28, the SimCity beta offers fans the chance to play a one hour slice of the game** and to deliver feedback that will help shape the final product. As a live service, SimCity will continue to provide updates that evolve the experience, delivering a dynamic platform that grows and expands over time.
