Creative Assembly face jocuri Warhammer

SEGA anunţa că studioul creator al seriei Total Was, Creative Assembly, a pornit pe un nou drum – va crea o serie de jocuri bazate pe universul fantasy din Warhammer (deţinut de Games Workshop). Pentru a duce la bun sfârşit proiectul, o nouă echipă a fost adăugată în studioul din Marea Britanie, alături de cei care deja lucrează la Total War, un titlu Alien şi diverse producţii pentru platforme mobile.
O dată aproximativă de lansare este undeva în 2013-2014, mai ales că pentru moment toţi fanii strategiilor aşteaptă Total War: Rome II. Adăugarea noii echipe şi a noii licenţe face la ora actuală din Creative Assembly unul dintre cele mai mari studiouri de producţie din Europa.

A new high-calibre development team has been set up at Creative Assembly’s UK studio to work alongside the existing Total War, Alien™ IP and Mobile teams on the first Warhammer title in the deal, scheduled to launch from beyond 2013.

The incredibly rich and detailed Warhammer world is something we grew up with, and has left an indelible imprint on us as both designers and gamers.”
